At Pickles Playland, we use positive reinforcement to help your furry soulmate learn good manners & habits, patience, and self-regulation. More walks, more meeting people and friends, more snuggles, more adventures - we want you to enjoy every aspect of your life, together.
OUR STRUCTURE
We rotate between playtime and nap time to help your pup learn to self regulate. While at daycare, team members work with dogs on behavior & impulse control for barking, pulling, and jumping.
The only daycare with a Lavender Lounge for special needs dogs!

The Lavender Lounge is a special section, of every Pickles Playland, designed specifically for dogs with special needs. These dogs enjoy beds and cots that are never more than 8 inches off of the ground allowing for easy walking on and off of every bed, instead of needing to jump.
The Lavender Lounge is a fenced in section with separation from more excitable dogs to accommodate dogs with social anxiety that prefer a barrier from more playful pups.

Many dogs have social anxiety, spinal sensitivities, visual impairments, and/or other medical needs. The Lavender Lounge is made to accommodate those needs. We host many dogs with IVDD, seniors, and dogs with anxiety disorders every day at Pickles.
The Lavender Lounge is a great option for dogs that have anxiety and prefer a barrier between them and more excitable dogs. This barrier allows them to get to hear and learn the sounds made by playing dogs without needing to interact with those dogs.

We don’t have a restriction on the amount of visits each dog is allowed to use the Lavender Lounge. We’re here to accommodate their needs and to provide a safe place away from home.
Some anxious dogs use it temporarily until they decide they want to be in the more excitable play group. This is common for some dogs during their first few visits.
While others that have medical sensitivities use the Lavender Lounge for their entire life.
YOUR DOG’S FIRST VISIT TO PICKLES PLAYLAND
Your dog’s 1st visit is considered their behavioral analysis. At Pickles Playland we believe a structured environment can help you and your dog live a peaceful life together.
Your dog’s behavioral analysis is 4 hours, unlike most daycares who take less than 1 hour to evaluate each dog, allowing us to get to know them and their needs. During this process we text you photos and an update. When the analysis is completed we call you to go over any questions you may have.
During the behavioral analysis we evaluate your dog on their comfort in daycare, their ability to share toys/beds/attention/treats, how well we can physically handle them, and their ability to stay calm in a kennel for boarding.
When your dog passes their analysis you’ll take home a report card and swag bag welcoming you to the Pickle Family! At that point you can decide a membership level or tell us during your dog’s next visit.
Behavioral Analyses are $20. If your dog passes they’re welcome to stay for the rest of the day at no additional cost.

Behavioral analyses cost $20 and are available at all locations. We’ll evaluate your dog’s temperament, manners, and kennel behaviors to see if they’re a good fit for Pickles Playland.

Cancelation policy: Cancel by 7am on the day of your booking without charge. If you cancel at or after 7am we charge for the full cost of the visit.

LUXURY
Each dog's kennel has a fresh memory foam mat for their comfort and to dry their feet in the the rainy season.
SEPARATE KENNELS
Each family’s dog(s) ride in their own kennel to relax in during their ride. This ensures your dog isn’t being stepped on by other dogs and prevents chance escapes when we are loading other dogs into the limo.
METAL KENNELS
We only use metal kennels so we can see into the kennels at all times and so climate control evenly reaches all dogs.
